United player to watch
Jason Campbell is one of those younger players. At just 22 the Alstonville product is one of the youth brigade who brings a wealth of experience to the park along with developing leadership qualities. With an appetite to ‘dig in’ Campbell’s return to the squad after a mid-season injury has brought a balance to the middle of the park that gives his fellow midfielders the confidence to push forward, knowing that Jase is behind them to sweep things up, make a decisive challenge and generally disrupt the opposition and turn defence into attack quickly. Jason plays his 40th NPL Men’s match tonight.

Redlands at a glance
Redlands finished 12th on the NPL ladder in 2018. A change of coach mid season has brought a change in form with the visitors climbing from a precarious start to currently sit 11th on the ladder. Of late the ‘Baysiders’ have produced some strong results against quality opposition to seemingly secure their ongoing involvement in the NPL in 2020 but they’ll be hungry to take something back up the M1 to keep their current position safe.
The Cleveland based outfit have turned to the experienced Graham Ross as the club’s Technical Director. Ross was TD at FQPL side Souths United in 2018 and lured one of their best marksmen to the Redlands in Kado Aoci. A deadly finisher, Aoci and leading scorer Shuto Kuboyama present as the biggest threats up front.
Past Encounters
Redlands took the points in both 2018 matches winning 2-0 in the Rd3 match-up in Cleveland and wiping the floor in the return fixture at Station Reserve, running away with a 5-1 scoreline.
