Curtain falls for GCU Men & Women

Neesa Doyle, captain of the GCU Women

A trip to the Sunshine Coast tomorrow for both the Senior Men & Women’s squads to round out season 2018.

The Men head to Kawana to face Sunshine Coast Fire desperate to end their campaign on a winning note after a recent tough run of fixtures.

The Women visit Ballinger Park and will be hoping to maintain the rage against the Sunshine Coast Wanderers.

In this the 26th round of the National Premier Leagues Queensland season we tip our hat to those players who have featured in every round in 2018.

On the Men’s front, livewire attacker Rees Duncan has been on the team sheet every round, scoring the Men’s first goal way back in Round 1 in Cairns.

For the Women, skipper Neesa Doyle and attacker Mackenzie Akins haven’t missed a beat, their experience, tenacity and durability cornerstones of the Women’s team.

Notable mentions, Eligh Williams and Joy Forsyth – 25 squad appearances each, in a long, testing season.

Good luck to both the Men & Women in tomorrow’s final round!
